The firm Martínez Lafuente Abogados was established in 2014, when Antonio Martínez Lafuente, State Lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in the Administration and in private enterprise, specialized in Inheritance Law, and Antonio Martínez Mosquera, Lawyer expert in Tax Law, joined forces to offer their clients high quality legal services, joining tax practice with Inheritance and Succession, which are so closely linked.
With more than three decades of experience in the sector, Antonio Martinez Lafuente is a member of the Court of Arbitration and a Doctor of Law and has advised leading companies such as REPSOL, ENDESA and CEPSA,
Currently, we offer legal advice to a diverse number of clients, focusing our efforts on Inheritance Law (Inheritance and Donations) and Tax Law. We also offer advice for all those clients with assets abroad or for non-residents with assets in Spain who need a reference law firm in Spain.
With a degree in Law from the CEU San Pablo University of Madrid, he has an extensive academic and professional career, with a deep experience in the field of tax law.
After his university studies, he took the competitive examinations for the Senior Corps of State Finance Inspectors, and then went on to complete several Masters in Tax Consultancy throughout his career. In 2011 he participated in the Tax Club, organized by the Cuatrecasas law firm.
Since May 2014 he is partner of Martínez Lafuente Abogados and lawyer of the Firm, as well as accountant partidor. Previously he was Head of Tax of two large groups, from 2012 to 2014 of the Chemo Group, and from 2010 to 2012 of the Amper Group. The beginnings of his career as a lawyer focused on tax advice to national and international companies, being part of the Ernst&Young and Lanwell teams.
Thanks to his extensive training and international experience, Antonio Martínez has a very advanced and professional level of the English language.
